We have been monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation. In light of the fluid situation and with much thought and consideration, we have decided to move the MPSCC Spring 2020 conference dates out to May 26th-29th, 2020 at the same location, at Margaritaville Lake Resort of the Ozarks (Tan-Tar-A Resort) at 494 Tan Tara Estate Drive, Osage Beach, MO 65065.
Although this is not what we had planned and we are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this is causing everyone, the safety of our Attendees, Speakers, Commercial Partners and Staff is the highest priority. We do not want to interrupt your ability to continue to respond or serve your agencies, citizens or customers. No one could have imagined that this would happen and yet, it has and we have to take this seriously. The resort has been a great partner and as you can imagine this is a huge feat to move a conference where contracts are already in place.
We will be moving all Speakers, Commercial Partners, Sponsors, and Attendee registrations out to the new dates of May 26th – 29th, 2020. You will not need to re-register for the conference, however the hotel is doing a blanket cancellation, so all hotel rooms made under our MPSCC Block will be cancelled automatically by the resort to save everyone time. If you did not reserve your room under the conference block, you will need to contact them on your own to cancel.
Please contact Margaritaville Lake Resort of the Ozarks (Tan-Tar-A Resort) #800-826-8272 with the hotel code: SSCC for the same conference discounted price when you re-book hotel rooms. Booking for the new conference dates will be open on March 23rd and we will share the link to www.mpscc911.org and Facebook.com/mpscc911/ as soon as the link is ready and they are open to take reservations. Rooms under the block will be open from Saturday, May 24th through Sunday, May 31st, spanning two weekends. You can plan on bringing your family and enjoy the holiday or just the warm weather on the lake!
Commercial Partners: If you have already committed for an exhibit booth, sponsorship, or non-exhibitor registration, we will be moving all of those registrations over for the new conference dates. Speakers / Presenters: Your registration is being moved over for the new dates, but Cheryl Konarski at [email protected] or Angie Stiefermann at [email protected] will be reaching out to reschedule speaking times and dates for the conference. If you have any conflicts, they will be able to assist you.
Attendees: Your registration is being moved over to the new conference dates above. If for some reason you cannot attend the conference, you will be able to transfer registrations to another employee. We will be re-opening registration next week at the Early Bird rate previously given, since there were some that could not make it to the March conference that may want to register for the May dates.
