Brandi Powell, known as The 9-1-1 Chaplain, is a highly respected professional with a unique blend of expertise in emergency dispatch and ministerial care. With over 15 years of dispatch experience, Brandi has firsthand knowledge of the demands and challenges faced by 9-1-1 dispatchers. In addition to her extensive dispatch background, Brandi also possesses 12 years of ministerial experience including certification as a Law Enforcement Chaplain, bringing a deep understanding of the spiritual and emotional needs that underpin human experiences.
Recognizing the need to address the spiritual and emotional toll that this profession can take on individuals, she has made it her mission to raise awareness about the significance of holistic wellness services in dispatch centers.

Brandi’s keynote, “Grace Under Fire: Being Kind in an Unkind Environment” is an intensive interpersonal communication session that deals with workplace bullies, burnout, morale and retention issues and encourages dispatchers to continue to grow and show grace even in stressful environments.
